BOGI Bookshop – This is set up at every meeting next to our office with our library inside the Hall. Most of the book titles are listed in your BOGI Newsletter. The books are sold at very good prices, most at 30% off RRP. You can also purchase by Mail Order. One of the most valuable books you may purchase is the “Queensland Planting Guide”, compiled from the experiences and collected wisdom from the BOGI Membership. For $5.00 (Member price) it offers a wealth of help and guidance from soils, seeds, fruit trees, when and what to plant, mulching, compost and pest control, to mention just a fraction of the contents. The book has been prepared for local conditions, but does include some help for other climatic regions.

BOGI Seed Bank – Available every month inside the hall alongside the Membership desk. Seeds saved by Members and others acquired from reliable sources are pooled into the Seed Bank and are available in small packets at very low cost. A current seed availability list is shown in the newsletter each month.

BOGI Shop – The shop is set up outside the Hall at the MacDonald Street entrance. In your monthly newsletter you can find a priced listing of organically friendly products for your garden that we sell and recommend. Advice on the use and application of all the products can be sought from the friendly BOGI Shop helpers.

BOGI Library. Situated next to our office with our Book Shop inside the Hall – Subject to the Rules of the Library, you can borrow both general and detailed books, magazines, periodicals, newsletters and Government publications. A vast store of knowledge free to Members, all at your fingertips.
