General Gardening Groups

While BOGI is a great club, there are other free or not-for-profit gardening groups in the Brisbane area which people might be interested in joining; see below:

  • Brisbane Local Food
A very active Brisbane area gardening group using the Ning social network platform.
  • Glebe Garden Club (Ipswich)
A community garden club open for anyone in the community to join and become a member. The club conducts its functions on the first Saturday of every month commencing at 1.30 pm.
  • Logan Food Gardeners
A free community social networking site that has been created for the people of Logan and surrounding local government areas. It is a place where you can join the conversations, share your love of food gardening and connect with like-minded people.
  • Redland Organic Growers Inc (ROGI)
ROGI is modeled off the BOGI club. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month at Indigiscapes Runnymede Rd Capalaba from 6.30pm.

  • Samford Local Growers

Community gardens often have associated gardening groups as well.
