Our general meetings are held at the Peace Hall in Windsor on the first Thursday of every month except Janurary.

 


GUEST SPEAKER FOR SEPTEMBER 2011 MEETING

Guest Speaker for September will be Ross Coe. Ross is an environmental education teacher with Education Queensland. He works at Nudgee Beach Environmental Education Centre where he weaves conservation and sustainability messages into the classroom curriculum of visiting school groups.

GUEST SPEAKER FOR AUGUST 2011 MEETING

Guest Speaker for August will be Barbara Beerling. Everyone loves to smell roses, but have you ever wondered about the history behind this beautiful flower? Barbara Beerling is Past President of Heritage Roses in Australia, an organisation of like minded people who are interested in the preservation, cultivation, distribution and study of old garden roses, roses no longer in general commercial cultivation. She will give an informative presentation about the many different types of roses which can be grown in SE Qld.

GUEST SPEAKER FOR JULY 2011 MEETING

Our guest speaker for July will be Steve Cassar, owner and founder of Ki-Carma Garden Products and Fertilisers. Steve will tell how he went from a Green Keeper to home delivering 2 products to today with Ki-Carma distributing, Australia-wide, a range of highest quality, fully certified, organic products. Steve will explain the difference in quality between his products and some other available in the market place. This is sure to be an inspiring and enlightening presentation.

GUEST SPEAKER FOR JUNE 2011 MEETING

Our June guest speaker is Jenny Holdway, a life member of Queensland Frog Society. Jenny will tell us all we need to know about frogs, how to identify them, how to make our gardens frog friendly, how they can help us in our gardens and answer all your froggy questions.
