CHRISTMAS MEETING - DECEMBER 2017

Come and Share our Final Meeting for 2017

Our December or Christmas meeting will be on Thursday 7th December. Come early, allow some time to browse the stalls, do your Christmas shopping, the BOGI Shop will be open to stock up for the Christmas break, BOGI Seeds and BOGI Books will be open, pay your membership for 2018 or purchase a membership as a gift for a friend. There will be competitions, a game or two, BOGI Clinic, a multi draw raffle and delectable supper.

The timetable for the night will be:-

6.30pm to 7.20pm  ●  Shopping, chatting, laughing
7.30pm to 9.30pm  ●  Voting of Photographs and Table Decorations
                                         ●  Christmas Hat Parade
                                         ●  Presentation of prizes for competitions
                                         ●  Presentation of Green Frog Award
                                         ●  BOGI Clinic
                                         ●  Demonstrations, Games and Entertainment
                                         ●  Raffle
9.30pm onwards    ●  Supper and chat

BOGI will supply the beverages for Supper

What Members will need to bring/do:-

1. Bring a hint, tip, saying or gardening fact which has helped you in the garden that you can share, written on a piece of paper to be handed in at the admissions desk, these will be for publication in 2018 newsletters
2. Bring a plate of something delectable to be shared for supper at the end of the meeting
3. Bring gifts for the homeless to donate to 139 Club Inc. – toiletries, thongs, underwear, socks - new items please and don't wrap
4. Bring lots of fun and laughter
5. Bring a pen to vote on competition entries
6. Bring a photograph for the competition (Optional)
7. Bring a table decoration for the competition (Optional)
8. Make and bring a Christmas Hat for the Christmas Hat parade (Optional)
9. Bring a prize to donate for the raffle (Optional)

~ Admission Fees for December meeting ~

Members who bring a hint, tip, saying or gardening fact to share  ~ Free
Members who don’t bring a hint, tip, saying or gardening fact to share  ~ $ 4.00
Non-Members         ~ $ 4.00

Raffles – When members pay their entry fee/garden tip for the meeting they will receive 1 (one) free raffle ticket – there will be no raffle tickets for sale at the December meeting. If you wish to donate a prize for the raffle it will be most welcome. There will be no free raffle tickets for supper plates!!!
