Bruce Ham, President BOGI - The aim of the seminar is to explore some alternative approaches to emerging challenges in home gardening and food security
David Borthwick from Productive Gardens - ways to maintain sub-surface moisture that crops can draw upon – wall garden and hydroponic applications
Christ Faast from Aqua Gardening - Aquaponics in small spaces, how and what to grow, using vertical space and organic nutrients - Fish expert, backyard fish, the do's and don’ts, tips and tricks.
Luke Brinsmead Fish in aquaponic systems - types of fish, water quality, fish health, growth rates and expected yields.
Ganesh, Mr Gadget – simple ways of configuring effective container-based gardens
This will be followed by a panel discussion and conclusions.
